Summer fun: Pack a hamper, pack up the kids, pack your festive terrorist head shmatta, and pack your animus for that vicious Zionist occupier, too. It’s the Palestine Canadian Social Club’s Family Day for Palestine” this Saturday, and everyone’s invited. You’ll thrill as clueless Lefty Carolyn Parrish addresses the crowd, gushing empathy all over it. You’ll gasp as a real live “NAKBA survivor” recounts his harrowing tale of ethnic cleansing.  You’ll gaze in awe at “the exhibition of Photographs (slide show), Paintings, Handicrafts and other artistic material that reflects the history, culture and struggle of the Palestinian people.”

What can I say? Sounds like a blast.

I already have a lovely set of Palestininian school books absolutely filled with hatred for Jews and "dhimmi". Every single one of them bears the statement "With the kind support of the Government of Canada." I show these books to people who visit my home. I think it's GOOD to know what our governments have been and continue to do with Canadian tax dollars, don't you? Until people actually SEE the books, they think I've been having them on.

"Belief in the essential goodness of every Canadian government" is another - possibly fatal - flaw in Canada's national character (such as it is!). This ignorance of what Canadian politicians have been up to over the years is going to COST Canadians one day. These chickens have a tendency to come home to roost. More than one person has suggested to me to "file a complaint with the Canadian HRC against the Canadian government for 'spreading hatespeech' and submit one of these books as evidence". Of course, only the most naive believe that this could be pulled off.

This is Canada! People get squelched by government institutions every day and are never heard from again.

HOW DOES ONE SURVIVE IN MODERN-DAY CANADA?

Watch your back. Don't trust ANYBODY - especially other Canadians. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Shut up. Don't do anything that might attract anybody's attention. Don't look. Don't stare. Don't overhear, hear, or remember what you hear.

In other words, in the 21st Century: THE ONLY SAFE CANADIAN IS A DEAD CANADIAN.

What a pity. Too bad not enough Canadians cared enough to do enough to salvage enough to keep Canada going. It used to be a nice place...

A sense of humour helps.
