"If someone tells you you are too weak to live with freedom, they have turned you into a child": Here's a clip from Penn and Teller's look at the First Amendment (that's the built-in constitutional protection Americans have that Canadians lack; the only thing we have to protect us is a Trudeaupian Charter of Rights and Freedoms that has a honking big asterisk beside the right to free speech). The sentence quoted, the last line of the clip, is a repudiation of the victim culture that sees adults as children who require "guidance" from their "betters".  The quote should be printed on t-shirts, mugs, and bumper stickers ad mari usqe ad mare. (Warning: Penn, the chatty one, tends to use the "F" word a lot.)
